For 2027, as part of the College’s separation of certification functions and membership activities, ACVS will separate the current single annual dues amount into two clearly defined components: an annual certification fee and annual membership dues.
While these fees will be listed separately, the combined total of the certification fee and membership dues is in line with what Diplomates have paid in recent years.

The 2027 ACVS renewal fees total: $615
The annual certification fee will be $490 and supports certification-related functions. The certification fee will be required to maintain ACVS Diplomate status. Annual membership dues will be $125 and support member benefits and services. Membership dues will not be required to maintain ACVS Diplomate status; dues are necessary if Diplomates wish to continue receiving member benefits. The combined total of $615 represents a 3.5 percent increase over 2026 membership dues.
The separated fees will first appear during the 2027 renewal cycle. Renewal notices for 2027 will be sent in early October 2026, with payment due by December 31, 2026. Diplomates who have questions about the 2027 renewal cycle can contact ACVS membership director Adam Seery, CAE at aseery@acvs.org, (301) 916-0200 x106, or post the question in the Governance Updates and Questions discussion group in ACVS Connect.
