Three-dimensional printers are a ubiquitous component of contemporary culture. In this issue, you’ll read about the latest uses of 3D printing in the ever-progressing field of veterinary surgery.

The Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Committee fielded a Diplomate survey in August 2021 to measure the demographic makeup of the College. Findings were recently published online in JAVMA and suggest that many respondents consider DEI to be an important initiative to promote in the College.

ACVS is saddened by the loss of Dr. Warren L. Beard, who passed on July 24, 2023. Dr. Beard was an Emeritus Diplomate and Honored Mentor.
