Harry W. Boothe

Having a veterinarian as a father, I have seen the positive effect of mentorship in the veterinary profession from a very early age. Such mentorship has favorably influenced my experiences as an ACVS diplomate. I appreciate the opportunity to share my experiences with the talented surgical residents with whom I have had the joy to interact over the years. Mentoring residents has been one of the most rewarding aspects of being an academic veterinary surgeon.

Dr. Boothe is an amazing mentor. He is an excellent teacher and is very patient with his residents. He is an incredibly skilled surgeon and consistently remains calm in the operating room. He has a great sense of humor. I am proud to have trained under him and I am a much better surgeon because of his remarkable training.
