Eric J. Parente

Eric has served as an unofficial and official mentor throughout my professional career. He was my official program mentor during both my internship and surgical residency training. He played a pivotal role in supporting me not only during my technical training but also my professional and human development during these years. I would not have been able to achieve Diplomate status without him. Unofficially, Dr. Parente continues this role, modeling professionalism and surgical prowess both as a faculty member for students and house officers alike, and as an active member of ACVS, continually encouraging new and active members to get involved and follow in his footsteps.
