Honored Mentor
Eberhard Rosin (Deceased)
DVM, DACVS
Treating them as colleagues and repecting their view on diagnoses is an important part of my teaching.
- Eberhard Rosin, DVM, DACVS

Eb Rosin was a mentor to countless students, interns, residents and fellow surgeons. ALS took him from us 20 years ago. Even after he lost his ability to speak and move his hands, he was communicating using a computer voice. He was also able to finish his antibiotic reference handbook for students by typing with his head. Those of us that knew him not only miss him as a mentor but also as a friend.
- Ken M. Greenwood, DVM, MS, DACVS

1940 – 2018
Dr. Rosin was a dedicated staff member of University of Wisconsin-Madison’s School of Veterinary Medicine and is regarded as a pioneer in advancing the field of veterinary surgery. He was influential in teaching at the school, where veterinary students learned how to perform surgery under his supervision.
