Through the ACVS Foundation Research Grant Programs, ACVS Diplomates and surgery residents in the first two years of training at an ACVS-registered residency training program may apply for a research grant, with available funding up to $20,000 per grant. The research project should be planned for completion within a one-year timeframe. Surgery residents are expected to complete the project within one year and by the end of the residency. Apply by January 15, 2026.
Before submitting a research grant application, it is imperative to ensure that the application is well-written and follows the guidelines found in Instructions and Tips. Failure to do so will considerably lessen the Research Committee’s consideration for recommending grant funding. To facilitate the receipt of as many high-quality applications as possible, the Research Committee welcomes your questions about your research proposal and will aim to respond within 10 business days.
