The ACVS Foundation has decided to name the conference area of the new ACVS office "The Past Presidents’ Conference Room" to pay tribute to those persons who have helped lead ACVS in being the recognized leader in veterinary surgery to all constituencies.
Did a past president mentor or guide your career, allowing you to excel in veterinary surgery? If so, take this occasion to show your appreciation with a tribute donation.

Dominic Marino, DVM, of Long Island Veterinary Specialists has performed hip replacement surgery on a 10-month-old tabby found by staff at the Humane Society of New York in midtown Manhattan. Hip replacement in cats became possible within the last few years as surgeons learned to operate on smaller animals, says Dr. Marino. The surgery, which included fixing a torn knee ligament, will give Winston a chance to walk normally.
