ACVS congratulates 74 Diplomates on their continued certification
In December 2024, ACVS completed its maintenance of certification record audit for Diplomates certified in 2019. ACVS congratulates two new ACVS Foundation Student Surgical Proficiency Award recipients
Congratulations to two additional recipients of the 2024 ACVS Foundation Student Surgical Proficiency Award. These students have demonstrated exceptional aptitude through initiative, diagnostic skill, dexterity, and perioperative care of animals undergoing surgery. Diplomates at each school determine the award recipients.
Approved Journals List addition
The ACVS Board of Regents approved the addition of one new journal, BMC Musculoskeletal Disorders, to the Approved Journals List. Resident manuscripts must be accepted by a journal on the list to meet the publication requirement.
