Steve’s patience and thoughtful approach to the training of his residents was unique. For me, he had the perfect blend of intimidation and support. I would not want to ‘let him down’ by not knowing the answer to a question the same way I would not want to disappoint my father. His influences over me continue to manifest themselves on a daily basis in my life. I am forever grateful for his mentorship.
