It is an honor to be identified as a mentor, and I thank my nominee. Nearly a half century of helping surgeons has produced much pleasure. Procedures and instrumentation constantly improve and the mutual learning makes a career exciting and fun. Teaching the next generation should ensure continuous improvement in surgical care for our patients. Thanks to those who contributed to my education.
