I have had the pleasure of participating in the training of many outstanding surgical residents during my career at Michigan State University.  These former residents are now amongst the Who's Who in veterinary surgery and in the ACVS.  I am humbled and honored to be considered as a mentor by these talented surgeons!

Dr. Probst has had a huge impact on my life, both professionally and personally. He was a great mentor throughout my resident training and research and to this day continues to be a role model. He is an excellent surgeon and taught me the importance of attention to detail, professionalism, dedication and perseverance. He gave me all the tools to become a successful orthopedic surgeon and has made me a better person.
