Serving as a mentor to help launch the careers of surgical specialists has been an honor. I have had the privilege of working with many very talented and dedicated residents. Watching these young professionals mature over three years and then following their career accomplishments have been highpoints of my career. I am thankful to have been a part of this teaching/mentoring process.
