I knew I could always count on Betty for her unwavering support as a resident and into my career. I recall that she would often answer questions directed at the residents during rounds. Some found this annoying, but I came to appreciate this as one of her endearing qualities. Betty loves to do surgery and be a mentor. I am tremendously grateful for her support and contribution.
