Mike has been an inspiration to so many young surgeons, setting the bar high with his research excellence, expert surgical skill, and his kind nature. He has been a supportive mentor to so many, with the ability to know when you need to be pushed past your comfort zone, yet always being there to catch you before you fall. I know that without his expert guidance/mentorship I would not be the surgeon I am today. Thank you for all you have done for the field of orthopedic surgery.
