I appreciate the donors whose contributions enabled me to be recognized as an Honored Mentor. One of the perks of my job is watching many of our interns become very successful in their careers. I would encourage all ACVS Diplomates to “give something back” and provide financial support for the organization that helped you become successful in your career.

Dr. Embertson has shaped my career and taught me innumerable lessons applicable to veterinary medicine and my personal life. His success in preparing recent graduates for a career in equine veterinary medicine is an extension of his personality and ideals. He sees the potential in every individual, believes in and supports those under his tutelage, all while leading through example and words. I am honored to know him as a mentor and a friend.
