Dr. Egger epitomizes the definition of a great mentor. He has devoted his whole life to imparting his wealth of experience and knowledge to anyone lucky enough to be his student. He often says ‘the question is more important than the answer.’ He has inspired, encouraged and supported so many of us to be better surgeons, researchers, teachers, and students.
