My own mentors demonstrated exceptional personal and professional ethics, excellent guidance in teaching surgical skills and biomechanical research, which jump-started my academic career. My goal was to duplicate their teaching proficiencies, surgical skills and client and patient interactions. To my sponsoring colleagues, please accept my great appreciation, gratitude and humble thanks for this honor.
