I am truly honored although unsure of which part I contributed to: Fashion advice? Relationship advice? Proper use of grammar? Sport trivia? Seriously, I am both delighted and humbled to whatever small part I may have played role in with growth of the individuals who pushed forward this acknowledgment. Large animal surgery is a team sport and I learned so much from all the colleagues, residents, and interns from their probing, questioning, and desire to always do better. Thank you for your awesome contributions and for this terrific honor!

Norm Ducharme epitomizes the best in attributes of a surgeon. He is amazingly skilled, well read, creative, conscientious, and humble. I have never seen a surgeon with as good of surgical skills as Dr. Ducharme. I have also never seen a surgeon as humble about their skills as Dr. Ducharme. I think he is one of the major reasons that I have been able to do what I have done as a surgeon.
