I never consciously thought of myself as a mentor; however, I did consciously give far more than I expected in return. I suppose that makes me a mentor. The rewards are intangible, yet priceless.

Bill Daly was strongly supportive in helping me navigate my first years out of residency, acting as an incredible mentor in both the surgical as well as business aspects of the trade.  He created a favorable work environment for me to pass boards on my first attempt, for which I will be ever grateful.  He deserves recognition for the passion and commitment  he has shown for veterinary surgery and the ACVS.
