I am so very thankful I have had an opportunity to play a small role as a mentor to so many fine surgeons through the last thirty years.  My goal and my prayer has been, and still is that, each become a caring and compassionate surgeon with the skills and knowledge that they need.  Dr. Basinger is a great professional, colleague and friend!
