The 2009 ACVS Celebration…Benefitting the ACVS Foundation was another Far-Out event!
The ACVS Foundation wishes to thank all of the donors, participants and attendees of the ACVS Celebration that was held during the 2009 ACVS Veterinary Symposium in Washington, DC. Because of the generous support of our Diplomates, industry partners, as well as community businesses and ACVS staff, there were more than 100 items available for raffle or bid. The Foundation raised nearly $40,000!
Auctioneer Steve Little has led the event since its inception and the Foundation is grateful for his dedication and support to making all of the components of the night run smoothly.
Photoboothlive® was another fun success this year. Thanks to Bob Lubell for traveling for this event for the third year in a row. There are several hundred photos available, see if you recognize any of the people in the crazy and funny flicks taken at Photoboothlive® that evening.
As the largest fundraiser of the ACVS Foundation, we rely on the donations and financial support of numerous donors to continue to be successful with this event. 2009 was an especially difficult time to secure donations, but the Foundation is extremely grateful to all of the individuals and the following businesses that made donations to this year’s event:
