Chapter 5 - Certification Examination

The ACVS Certification Examination is held in February each year.

By mid-November, the ACVS office will send a current Examination Information Pamphlet, which includes the examination contract and other items, to all eligible examination candidates. The Examination Information Pamphlet provides additional information regarding examination rules and security, the examination schedule and a suggested reading list.

The 2011 Examination will be held:

• Examination Fees: For 2011, the ACVS examination fee is $1,175 for first time examinees. The re-examination fee (any portion of the exam) is $725.
  
• 2010 Examination Information Pamphlet (The 2011 Information Pamphlet will be available no later than mid-November.)
