Residency Program Related Contacts


Ombuds: The Board of Regents appoints an Ombuds to assist Diplomates, residents and other individuals who are not able to obtain information by contacting a Board member, Committee Chair and/or staff person.

Residency Program Facilitator:  This position has been established to assist residency programs with program structure, uniformity, requirement compliance and broader documentation issues.  Questions and concerns by program directors, particularly at new program locations, can be addressed to the Residency Program Facilitator.

Resident Credentialing Committee:  This committee is responsible for verifying that residents are meeting the program requirements of the ACVS through evaluation of yearly documentation.  Residents are encouraged to contact the Chair of the RCC with questions regarding these requirements.
