ASSISTANT PROFESSOR POSITION IN FARM ANIMAL AMBULATORY MEDICINE

The Department of Clinical sciences is seeking to fill an assistant professor position in Farm Animal Ambulatory Medicine to join our team of 5 professors and 5 clinicians. Our Farm Animal Ambulatory Service (90% dairy cattle, 5% beef cattle, 5% small ruminants) does approximately 6000 farm visits per year of which 2000 are in preventive medicine. Our mission is to provide quality teaching for the undergraduates and graduates students, offer to our clientele a service that is at the forefront of veterinary medicine and conduct applied research in ruminant health. Presently, on-farm surgery, lameness, pain management, calf health and beef cattle medicine are areas that we wish to improve/develop.
