Resident Training Log Supported by Pfizer Animal Health

ACVS is pleased to announce that ACVS Industry Partner Pfizer Animal Health is providing generous support for the further development of the Resident Training Log.
Residents use the log to record all of the required components of their training programs. They must record weekly activity, surgery cases, seminars and rotations with anesthesiology, pathology, radiology and internal medicine/critical care specialists. Users of the Resident Training Log also include Resident Advisors, Program Directors and Resident Credentialing Committee members.
"Partnering with ACVS to support residents in training is part of the Pfizer Animal Health commitment to veterinarians," said Michael McFarland, DVM, Group Director, Veterinary Medical Services & Corporate Citizenship, for Pfizer Animal Health. "As the global leader in animal health, we’re proud to take the lead in supporting veterinarians, their practices and their profession.”

ACVS gratefully acknowledges Pfizer Animal Health’s support and Pfizer Animal Health’s commitment to veterinarians.
ACVS Industry and Practice Partners are committed to the mission and the values of the ACVS. By working together with industry leaders and private practices, the College can support better education and training of veterinary professionals, increase funding of cutting-edge studies that are key to discovering new and better treatments, and improve animal owner's understanding of their choices in high quality surgical care.
