ACVS Foundation Grant Writing Resources

Welcome to the Grants Writing Resource Page developed by the ACVS Foundation to encourage all Diplomates and Residents to continue to submit quality, professionally written proposals for the grants available each year.  This entire page of information has been developed to support you in your writing needs, and highlights some of the many resources that are available to help you with your grant application process.  The ACVS Research Committee looks forward to reviewing your proposals this year.

Grantspersonship: An Instruction Manual (Survival Skills and Ethics Program, University of Pittsburgh), Beth A. Fischer and Michael J. Zigmond.  This document has been noted to be a particularly helpful document.  It was designed to be generic, in that the information could be applied to most grant writing scenarios.

The Art of Grantsmanship, Jacob Kraicer, is one of the most popular documents referred to for grant writing needs.

Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Office of Grant Support offers a Grantsmanship Tutorial.   This resource is designed to help you negotiate the grant proposal preparation and submission processes.

Fundamentals of Grantsmanship, by Janet S. Racey, offers a basic and direct approach to the process.
